"Katuri College and Life of Medical Students"

Katuri Medical College helps in providing theoretical, practical as well as ethical knowledge to the students and help us in our overall development. The college campus and faculties instill self confidence in us and helps in shaping a better future.

The course curriculum is good. As MBBS course is heavy, a lot of workload is packed upon us. It's hard to complete the whole course in time. Internals are held to make us prepare better. Other than that we're regularly given assignments and projects.

As it is MBBS, we do not have any placement opportunity. We're given internship with a Stipend of about Rs.50000 per month. The college is having huge infrastructure and the experience one gets from the institute is something great.

We have celebrations most often and it is the only relaxation we have out of the hectic syllabus. During celebrations, teachers too encourage us a lot to participate and explore our inherent talents. Also many seminars and webinars are organised by the College to ensure our overall development.

The fee structure is feasible for students belonging to all categories. Including hostel fees, mess charge, tuition fees etc., a total of 2 lakhs is asked by the College. But the practice, training and experience one gets out of here is great. Also there are scholarships for deserving students.

Yes scholarships are given, but not sufficiently. Only students belonging to the reservation category is provided with scholarships or loan and it is something very vital for completing their studies.

The overall environment in Katuri favours the students to have the best of the days there in the campus. There is Gender equality and sexual orientation. The College also has good library and laboratory facilities.

Yes I've opted for Hostel. Though the hostel fee is high, I do not have any other option. We're provided with sufficient food, water and all other basic necessities correctly. And we enjoy our hostel life a lot. It is about Rs.70000 per year.

Yes they are very helpful. They're experienced and guides us in every possible way. We're free to ask any help from them and are willing to teach us anything related to our syllabus at anytime. They're talented and provide us with enough notes.

I've always dreamt of becoming a Doctor and landed up in Katuri College of Medical Sciences with MBBS course. Katuri College is of huge infrastructure and offers a very beautiful platform that supports the students to learn as well as to grow. Admission was granted on the basis of my NEET UG scorecard and another entrance exam conducted by Katuri College.

The faculty of Katuri Medical College is good. We're are blessed with very enthusiastic, intelligent, motivating teachers who is very supportive. Their guidance is something great and we couldn't complete the course without their cooperation.
