Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum in here is one of the best for MBBS. The Subjects are Microbiology , Biotechnology , anatomy , physiology etc. They provide both practical and theoritical knowledge. The first 3 years are fullfledged theoritical and the last 2 years , students are assigned for real life approach. The study materials are same like the other institutions. But students needs to be attentive in order to become successful in their upcomming life.
Placement Experience
Every students gets placed in different hospitals in different region , irrespective of their profession. Internships are provided for students while pursuing their course in SIMS itself. Some internships can also be a paid one but mostly , they are free of cost. In final year, duties are allotted to the students to brushen up their knowledge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees in SIMS for MBBS is less than the other colleges or institutions. It is 3lakhs rupees per annum, which is very feasible. So a student has to pay 60,000 per/- , for 5 years. It is very convenient even for the middle class students and their families.
Campus Life
Various competition are held in SIMS , whether be it inter debate competition or inter - quiz competition, they participate in every field to learn and develop their communicative skills. Sports rally are held each and every year. Not only competitions but also seminars are held and various workshops for the students to gain adequate knowledge towards making a better future in their irrespective field.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available in the campus. The girls hostel has 130 capacity including both single and double sharing room. The boys hostel has 70 rooms in total. The rooms are spacious and clean. The distance between the main campus and the hostel is not too much, it's a walkable distance. Every compartment has a mess in the campus. Both in girls and in boys hotels has a warden to maintain the decorum.
Admission
The admission of MBBS is based on the score obtained in NEET. Also candidates passing 10+2 must score 50% aggregate marks in PCB (Physics , Chemistry , Biology) and English from a recognizable board/colleges.I had a good score so I took admission here.
Faculty
The institution has one of the best faculties in the entire region. They are all very highly professional and dedicated towards their work. As a doctor , they take their work very seriously. They are also supportive towards the students and motivating for a better future.
