Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was relevant, and useful to meet the learning objectives. Courses are designed in such a way that students are industry ready when they graduate. Though the course could start using more modern teaching styles to make it better.
Placement Experience
A lot of companies came for recruitment. 60 percent of students were placed in my course. The salaries offered were Rs. 14000-30000. The package per year was 3 to 5 Lakhs offered to my course. 70 percentage of my friends got an internship in silk software companies.
College Events
The college conducts events yearly once. The fest and campus crowd was very big, connectivity was very good, campus surroundings was really good. The events encourage and aid students in innovative thinking and pursuing careers of their choice.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is reasonable for a mechanical engineering course. The fees are Rs. 160,000 per semester. The college offers good scholarship opportunities as well. Scholarship are also available for backward caste.
Campus Life
In our college Wi-Fi is available for all students and staff members. Labs are neat and clean in the college and there are diversity of students. Extracurricular activities are also good. All types of facilities related to hostel and food are provided to students here.
Admission
I chose the mechanical course because since the start I loved to work on machines. After applying for Karnataka common entrance exam, I passed with a good rank and got through the admission process quite easily.
Faculty
Most faculty hold Ph.D. degree. All faculty have great knowledge about the subject and they are quite helpful. They not only focus of the theoretical aspects but also the practical where and if required. We receive pdf's and study material from the teachers and the lectures are also recorded.
