If you want to enjoy your college life this college is not what you're looking for. But if you want to do something else besides college studies then this is the place as there is no attendance issues.
Entrance Preview
I had taken taken my 12th Board exam and secured a 91.25% although the cut off requirement is very low here. Admission is done online. Took Honours in Accounts as I was from Commerce background and wanted to pursue MBA.
Internships Opportunities
No college internships provided. There are no summer internships or anything. No college internships provided. There are no summer internships or anything.
Placement Experience
Only BPO recruitment are done by TCS. They conduct a training programme for one week and then take an aptitude test. If you clear that. You have to clear the Interview. Then you get the job.
College Events
There is no extra curricular activity or clubs or societies in the college. Only Saraswati Puja,Independence day and Durga puja is celebrated that too on a small scale. Hardly any inter-college or inter-college contests are held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's aided by Government. So it's very cheap. 1st year fee was around 6000 inclusive of all university charges id card. 2nd year was around 5500. 3rd year was around 6000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available to the needy. Mostly to the SC,St,OBC quota people or the non credit layer provided marks are decent.
Campus Life
There are no extra curricular activities organised. Only an Annual Sports which is below average in all respects. No dance,singing,cultural,commerce committees or clubs are there to organise fests or anything.
Hostel Facilities
There are no hostel facilities provided n canteen is unbearable. It's very unhygienic. People have to find a PG or a flat to stay.
Alumni/Alumna
Nobody comes to the college. How do you expect an alumnus. Senior students are not helpful. They're busy with their own lives. But there is no ragging.
Exam Structure
The Calcutta University pattern was followed. No semesters. Year wise University exams are held. And one mid term internals are held.
Faculty
The faculty is very good but most of them don't come for most of the days as the attendance of the class is negligible. They are educated but they don't teach as nobody is there in the class. But you can approach them personally in case of any doubts.
