WBJEEB-JECA is the entrance examination held in KOLKATA for the admission in to Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course in the affiliated college under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). My Rank was 768. I opt the particular college firstly its growing up and the feedback i got from others is that the college has very Good & Quality faculty that attract me. Furthermore, its need to my Home.

The course is structured in such a manner that learning new topics of non-engineering background becomes easier than perceived. The MAIN subject that are being thought as the curriculum are:1) Intelligent Systems 2) Business Systems and Applications3) Computer Programming, Data Structures with C (LAB too)4) Discrete Mathematical Structure5) Data Communication & Computer Networks (LAB too)6) Data Base Management System I & II (LAB too)7) Adv. Unix and Shell Programming (LAB too)8) Compiler Design9) Object-Oriented Programming lab (C++) 10) Object Oriented Programming with Java.

Very frankly we didn't have this Internship period in our courses. But still we enrolled ourself in National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), Indian School of Ethical Hacking (ISoEH), Ardent, Internshala, Metawing for internship on : Java Programming Language using Java EE, Oracle 10g, Hadoop, Ethical Hacking, Entrepreneurship, Application Development using ANDROID.

About placement I already got placed in two A-tier Companies before the end of my MCA course like Wipro Technologies, Maintec. Not only me many from our batch already placed in more than one companies with attractive package.

Our college do celebrated Cultural Fest. And it occur one in the year so it is celebrated over a long period and with huge enthusiasm. I do took the active member in organising it along with the help of our friendly faculties.

It's much feasible as compared to other affiliated college of maulana abul kalam azad university of technology and to be very frank there is NO hidden cost behind the course fee.

College do provide loans as every college does many of our batchmate took and pursuing i didn't took the loan so i didn't have the details on this.

There is no gender ratios. I don't know why this question is there in this 21st century where on the other hand our honourable prime minister is eradicating this gender ratio and any other intolerance in regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, politics and economic status. But still our college has Anti-Ragging community that work super. We didn't have any intolerance with the above.

As my home is near so i didn't need to board hostels room but i went to it as two of my friend staying in it. I wouldn't say its world class but it's good.

Alumni was excellent. It was organized some year back also but currently it is celebrated with all our college seniors with their experience in their field. With some year of our Alumni it have a massive response.

Exams are broadly classified into two internal exam occur twice in a particular semester and finally our main written & lab board exam even we do have lab exam on regular basis where the performance is mailed to our parents/guardian.

Its pedagogy of teaching is quite different and unique in its own way which enhances participantﾒs ability to think and make decision in any difficult situation. Almost all the faculty being nice to us and guiding us whenever we required. Labs is just perfect for students to learn. Not only in studies we are also allows to present our ideas and thoughts which faculty supported and encouraged us.
