Entrance Preview

I wanted to pursue some course that was other than normal courses. I wanted to join the MCA. I took JECA (Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to MCA) entrance examination for taking admission in this college. I scored good marks, and in counselling, I got chance in this college. Pre examination days, I wanted to join this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was as per WBUT standards. WBUT changes standards, our college changes the quality of study. The college changes/upgrades our labs/libraries as per our WBUT standards.

Placement Experience

In our batch, total 3 companies visited who offered us jobs. In total, 2 batchmates were well placed. The company names were GlobalIDS, STG, and ABC. Sometime later, our college accumulated 2 other classmates in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are certain scholarship programmes initiated by our college to help needy students. I am not aware of any loans granted to student(s).

Our faculty were very much efficient, provided us good quality education as per our curriculum. They gave us good education and guided us in labs. All the technical and non-technical faculties were very knowledgeable.

Placement starts after 2nd semester. Top companies TCS, Maventic , Celebal, and Cognizant visit the campus. The highest package is around 10 LPA, and the average is 4 - 5 LPA. About 75 % of students get placed. after completing my degree, I plan to work in the IT industry .

For MCA it's not good. If you are from b Tech you will get opportunity but in mca opportunities are quite less. Hardly you will get placement of 4 lakhs also it's quite difficult becoz they will not let you sit in the placement drive

Placement Experience:

If you are doing a 2-year course then you are eligible for campus placement in the 3rd sem as i MCA student. Companies come on a campus like Capgemini, continent, tcs, Infosys, IBM, etc. The highest package of placement this year was 12 lac per annum .85% got placement.
