Remarks
The overall experience was good. The biggest downer was not having campus placement. The management could have done better on this aspect. The hostel facilities were average.
Entrance Preview
I got admission under the management quota. I opted for this as this was one of the few colleges I could admission in.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum from Bharathiar university was good. It covered all the topics that a software engineer would need to know it get ready for the IT industry.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship programme in the college for our batch. As a matter of fact, there was no campus placement either. I that aspect our batch was very unfortunate.
College Events
We had a inter-college technical symposium during our tenure, and it was very well organized. There were cultural fests every year and there was active participation from students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
During my time there was a lot of hype around MCA, and I felt that the fee was on the higher side. We should have got better facilities for the fee we paid.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no scholarship available during our tenure. I am not sure if there were any for the engineering students, but we MCA students did not get any.
Campus Life
There were couple of sports days during our tenure and it was well organized. I got chance to participate in football. Not much of extracurricular activities other than sports and annual fest. The environment on campus was very clam and quite, and I did not hear of any fights among students during my tenure.
Exam Structure
The exam and lab frequency was well balanced. I never felt stressed out during my 3 years in the college.
Faculty
Overall, we had a good set of faculty during our time. I am not sure about the present state.Some of then were really dedicated and made sure that we learned our stuff.
