Course Curriculum Overview
The whole course if of 4 years and divided into 8 semesters. The syllabus id pretty tough. Both practicals and theories have to be managed side by side. Two semester exams are held in one year. There are frequent mid exams and practical exams held in between.
Placement Experience
honestly the placements aren't great especially n Mechanical stream. You can get a good job just by completing your B.Tech. You need to pursue a higher degree or after graduation, find yourself a good internship outside.
College Events
The college is quite active when it comes to celebrating and hosting events. There are cultural programs held where students actively participate. Events like Annual day and freshers are held once in a year. A gathering of a lot of people takes place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite feasible when compared to other institutes. All the facilities are quite good but can be improved. The tuition fee is around 40,000 per annum. The tuition fee does not include other fee like hostel fee or examination fee. they havr to be paid separately.
Campus Life
The college does supports sports. Everybody is allowed to participle in sports events. There are sports tournaments conducted occasionally. The labs are also all fully equipped and up-to-date. No where in the college you find ragging or any sort of bias among the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is decent. Single room is to be shared by 2 or 3 people. There are recreational rooms also provided like carrom, table tennis etc. The infrastructure is also good. The mess food is also tasty.
Admission
The first requirement for the admission is that the candidate has to pas 10+2 examination in their respective board. I scored good grades in my 10+2. Then I also appeared for JEE mains and UPSEE. My UPSEE score was really good and hence upon counselling i got selected in the college for admission. There is also SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET). If qualified, the candidate will be counselled and admission will be granted accordingly.
Faculty
The faculty is very supportive here. They always make us see the brighter side. They are always there to help us anytime of the day. Their experience level is so high and everybody is highly qualified.
