Course Curriculum Overview

The course includes many helpful subjects and projects to work on along with studies. We get to participate in lots of corporate based workshops and competitions to help us improve our management skills. There weren't any lab work so we had enough time to study and participate in workshops.

Placement Experience

SIBM has a perfect rate of 100% placements and many reputed companies arrive annually and recruit students. The maximum package went up to 50 lakhs and minimum was an impressive 10 lakhs. Companies like Amazon, Google and Microsoft have students from SIBM in their management sectors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of SIBM is sky-high. It cost me a whopping 9.5 lakhs annually for the MBA program. The fees for the executive program is however significantly low at 2.5 lakhs annually. The outcome of the course has proved to be beneficial as compared to the fees.

Campus Life

There are a plethora of extracurricular activities and sports facilities at SIBM. There are many social clubs and committees like the finergy club which is based on the finance sector and Hippocampus club that focuses on creativity. The gender ratio at SIBM is 32 % girls and 68% boys which isn't evenly balanced.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel conditions at SIBM are good. Air conditioning good be improved as the temperature gets too high during the summers, but hostel rates are affordable and there is good privacy in the dorms. The rest of the infrastructure is excellent with many facilities.

Admission

This college has one of the best business programs in India. I really like the course structure and it was the deciding factor for me. The admission procedure was a bit hefty as i had to submit many documents of my past academic and extra curricular achievements.

Faculty

The faculty consists of highly qualified teachers who use their experience and knowledge to teach us properly. Most of the staff are PhD holders. Their is no case of under qualified teaching and the teachers explain in a brief and friendly manner.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. In addition, the teaching staff has a Ph.D.

Life at SIBM NAGPUR

SNAP test is mandatory for any Symbiosis college. VAT, GDPI sessions are taken during admission process. 60 percentile is the cut off for SIBM Nagpur. SNAP test is conducted thrice a year. MY EXPERIENCE AT SIMB NAGPUR

Admission process at my college was very easy and was not weary as admission processes are assumed to be. The Eligibility criteria was as follows: Graduation from any recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and 45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A graduate from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). One has to fill the application form for the course they want to opt for and then register for SNAP, Symbiosis National AptitudeTest. The application fee for SNAP is Rs 1,750 for all programmes. Candidates can pay the application fee online as well as offline. Admission to MBA programme is based on SNAP scores. The candidate must hold a bachelor?s degree in the relevant discipline, to apply for the same.
