Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is semester based. Totak 5 years is needed to complete the course. The semester exams happens once in 6 months which is followed by the mid terms, assignments, tests, practical assignments which is done on monthly basis. As it is a MBBS course the schedule is hectic and needs a lot of hardwork, concentration and dedication in it.
Placement Experience
The college provides internships and good placements. The internships are for mandatory one year and the placements are going to take place in the end of the course. The college does not guarantee any placements but if there is a chance for placements, which is offered by the college then this will be mostly in other ESIC hospitals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Apart from being a government college the fee structure is quite on the expensive side. The fee is higher than other government colleges but still lesser than other private colleges. The annual fee is somewhat 1lakh which is going to be 5lakhs in the total course curriculum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are scholarship facilities in the college. Most of them are offered by the government of India through the National Scholarship Portal for economically weaker section. Also there are education loans provided for the financial support from the private and public sector banks.
Campus Life
Honestly there is not much of extracurricular activities. The college organises many workshops and events where the students get the chance to interact with patients. The college celebrates a lot of events like Republic Day, Independence Day, New Year, Annual Day also freshers party and farewell party. The necessary activists and events are conducted by the college.
Admission
The admission process here in ESIC Medical College is based on your AIR in NEET-UG. Also you need to pass your higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with atleast 50% marks in science stream. The admission process is nothing different from any other medical college across the country.
Faculty
ESIC is a medical college and hospital so the faculties are all practicing doctors. They are able to manage both the work simultaneously. They are the finest teachers you would see, and brings the best out of you. Their teaching methods and interacting techniques are the best. They are helpful and co operative doctors.
