"Medical Life in HIMS"

There is nothing negative about the College. I'm very much thankful and satisfied for everything offered by the College. It is one of the largest medical institutions in UP. The best of technologies is provided by the Institution.

The course curriculum is vast. The course is of 4 years 6 months and there is a compulsory internship of 1 year. The course and college is approved by Ministry of Health, MCI and GOI. Examinations too are on the basis of this. There are a lot of things to study and everything is up-to-date.

As it is a Medical course, fhere is no particular placement available from the Institute, but a lot of private and government hospitals are there to provide job for students. There is a 1 year internship program which is mandatory but the payment is not that high. Students completing the course could join as Junior Residents in hospitals.

Along with the academics, there are many events organised in the College campus. All special occasions are celebrated in a grand way with dance, music and other interesting programs. Independence Day, World Health Day and other special days are also properly celebrated. Annual Day is full of programs where the students wholeheartedly participate.

Everyone is aware that it costs much for a Medical course. Including tuition fees, mess charge and all other fees, the total fee structure of MBBS in HIMS is around 13 lakhs or more than that. The whole course, hence, costs a very huge amount as fees . But the prospects of completing the course and getting a job immediately is greater.

There are different extracurricular activities organised in the College. It is an expansive campus spread over 12 lakhs sq.ft. The Institute provides best of technologies. There are well equipped laboratories, comfort hostel and hygienic mess facility. There is no Gender or Political difference in the campus.

Yes I've opted for hostel. Everything is comfortable in the hostel. Food, water and other necessities are of good quality. There are well maintained rooms with proper ventilation and study tables. A tasty mess also functions there.

Yes the senior students keep in touch with the present students. They provide every form of assistance to us. We are free to ask them any queries whenever we are in need. Notes as well as experience is shared by the seniors. They guide us all through the course.

Admission procedure in the Heritage Institute is open for those candidates who have passed 10+2 with Science Stream and Biology as a main subject. Candidate should also have good marks in the NEET scorecard.

I'm so proud and blessed to have such a wonderful faculty. The Institute hosts a faculty of academicians from reputed institutions including AIMS, AMU, BHU, KGMU, CMC, etc. They have an experience of more than 20 years. They are talented and helps us in our studies.
