Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English as I liked the subject, and I found the course was designed quite nicely, in fact. The topics included were all interesting, and delved deep into the subject matter. It was a little hectic with regular exams held every semester and a lot of topics to cover.
Placement Experience
There were not many placement opportunities, especially for arts graduates. Although companies do come to the college, they don't really look for B.A. graduates. Sometimes, a few companies do come for us, but most of us went for higher studies, while some attempt for government jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The cost isn't really high. The total cost of the three-year degree was about 23,000 rupees. It's not a very large amount of money, and is definitely affordable. The college also provides good quality education and infrastructure, so I'd say it is feasible.
Campus Life
Every department has its own clubs. My department had a Kannada Sangh, English Association and Journalism club where I participated. There's also workshops and personal development seminars. There's also the annual magazine published called Anantha Yathri.
Admission
The whole application proces was held at the college office. The application was submitted, along with copies of important documents, like marksheets, income certificate, birth certificate and so on. Selection was based on 10+2 results.
Faculty
The faculty members were really helpful. They helped us understand everything, and also guided us as we tried to do well in the exams and figure out what we would do later in life. Their advice and stern hand were both helpful in the long run.
