Entrance Preview
I took karnataka CET examination in 2008 and secured a rank of 1157. I had option to get into RVCE and PESIT as well, which stood 1st and 2nd and BMSCE in 3rd position in the state in 2008. I chose this because of placement opportunities here and atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview
All important courses are covered by 5th sem. Remaining 3 semesters will have all electives. Required courses will be offered however only the course selected by majority will be offered.
Internships Opportunities
No encouragement in this regard. There is no push from faculty end and also there is no dedicated encouragement for this. If you are placed to a company by end of 6th sem and they offer internship, then you can go for it or you have to search by own. There is no assistance provided by college for this.
Placement Experience
If you have a passing score, irrespective of department, atleast one offer will be there of around 3.5 lpa. but otherwise, in the other tier of companies there are loads of opportunities for comp sc. and info sc. dept students
College Events
Utsav is college fest. It is very popular among other fests in the city. One can expect a huge crowd . Apart from this, there will be dept fests and other stuffs which keeps u occupied.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its strange that only few departments have been aided by government and they need to pay 10000 lesser than other departments. But for unaided course it is around 40000 tuition fee per year.

Seniors are real guide for anything and everything. They are globally spread across and are helpful. It s a rare college where intelligent brains are allowed to have decent fun.
Exam Structure
CGPA grading is followed and not percentage. 50% weightage in on final exam and remaining 50% on internal evaluation So its easy to score in final exam provided you are having a decent internal score.
Faculty
This is one the major (probably the only) drawback of the college. Few departments have nice faculty but the dept I was in had lecturers who were least bothered about the students and no guidance is provided for higher education or paper submission etc. I
