University life the best life.

No there were no bad remarks the management was best other than the fact that placements were not great.

ICET was the entrance exam I gave and scored rank 205 and got a seat in andhra univeristy in ny hometown itself.

We had subjects which included marketing, finance, human resource in a vast perspective and during the 2nd year, we had finance as a common specialisation, apart from a selective ones.

Internships were held during the 2nd year and i did my internship at aurobindo pharmaceuticals at srikakulam district. We were not give any stipend, because it was a project on a topic on human resource which we did as a group. The internship was based on the course we choose. There were companies for every course, like finance people did internship in banks and marketing people did in retail companies and HR people opted companies where the scope of HR is high.

We had placements for all the courses like marketing, finance and Human resource. Future group came with a package of 3.5 lacs per annum for HR, capital IQ came with a package of 2.5 lpa for finance and many other companies but with a lesser package.

There were many events which were held at our university. One was amity meet, which was an event conducted at our university for all the management schools all over India.

The university is government aided ones and getting a seat in our university is a big thing so the fees structure was quite low as the best rank holders in ICET, would be placed in the university.

Scholarships were offered by our University but no idea about it in detail as it is a university, most of the students join here with scholarships.

University is meant to hold many events anything happens in visakhapatnam, our university stands first to take action like rallies, dharnas and other such fights.

I was a day scholar so never stayed in a hostel but my all other friends were hostlers and their facilities were quite good. But as everyone belong to different districts of andhra pradesh, they were not happy with the taste of the food of our district.

We have regular meetings with our alumni they come and share their experiences about placements, interview structure and how to choose a right job etc. They guide us quite well and even share their contact details in case of any assistance.

We had semester wise examinations held an corrected at our University itself. There were no labs for management students other than for computer lab, as we had IT subject.

As it is a university, we had all professors who were Ph.D holders they were highly professional and quite seniors we had the best faculty in visakhapatnam.
