College and faculty is good mainly one year project with real oil industries is very good based on this student got placed in company during project itself.

Selected in M.TECH Course based on M.Sc Percentage. I qualify Gate also. I had completed M.Sc Geology in 2006. I want to do course in petroleum exploration. There is only 3 to 4 college. One is ISM Dhanbad and second is our institute. Remaining college charge more fees in M.Tech course.

M.Tech course in petroleum exploration is specialized and unique course. This course contain 4 semester every semester have 6 month. This course contain 8 paper in every semester. 3rd and 4th semester is 1 year M.Tech project with oil industries. Which is good part of this course.

I got one year internship in 3rd and 4th semester of course with Gujarat state petroleum corporation in Gandinagar. I got full of well-site and field experience with company and worked with some of software. I got 10000 rs stipend every month. After completion of one year GSPC company offer job.

We are total 20 student. We placed in all companies. 7 student placed in Reliance industries with package around 10 lakh. 3 student placed in Crain india with package of 11 lakh around. I and other 2 student placed in ONGC goverment psu with 12 lakh package. 1 student placed in GSPC and 2 student placed in anil ambani Reliance company and 2 student placed in HOEC company with around 10 lakh package. Remaining student placed in MUD logging companies like OFI wetherford.

One of the big oil industries conference and seminar conducted on delta of east cost of India with ongc and reliance and other companies and various training conducted related in oil industries. Annual cultural event also organised and welcome and fevoural party and celebrated most of national holiday in college.

50000 rs fees for one year so total is 1 lakh rupees for this course but its worth because faculty arranged by HOD from Oil industries. Even student get 10000 rs stipend per month during one year industries training. So student recover fees.

I received scholarship from UGC professional for SC,ST around 60000 rs for one year. Loan student can avail from any bank as education loan.

Our practical conducted in labs. We have one big computer labs where we used internet to browse course material and studies material. College have big play ground. Where we played vollyball daily. So awesome our campus life. We visit near sea shore area and beech around viskaptatan. We watched saterday or sunday movies in market.

Hostel facilities available with andhra university where stay some student. Hostel is average but food is not good. So some of student even i stay out side. Rent for two room set near college i paid around 6000 rs along with 4 studend. So per person is around 1500 rs rent. Food we hired cook and we pay 2000 rs for cooking.

Total 4 semester in course each semester is six month. Theory and practical exam conducted in college. 3 to 4 labs in college. Where we do some practical exercise. Easy system of exam not hectic.

Faculty i can say very good. 3 to 4 professor are regular and remaining faculty are oil industries temporary faculty. Retired oil industries faculties teach us about all M.Tech petroleum exploration course as practical. Theory is very less. We feel like we were in oil industries. Awesome faculties.
