The Management is very good and the Placement wing has to improve by contacting many other companies. Even though the companies show interest in recruiting graduates it is good for us to approach.
Entrance Preview
EAMCET. Rank 9686. I desired to study in Andhra University and Core branch of Chemical Engineering. It was practised as a reputed branch in the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
Started with general subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Year on added with core subjects Transport phenomena, Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Process design Engineering.
Internships Opportunities
I had got the opportunity to work in KCP sugars as an intern to complete my project. Later it helped in completion of my project study to persuade my B.tech degree. I received Rs5000/- as stipend.
Placement Experience
Many good companies turned up. HPCL, Infosys, TCS, Satyam Computers (now Mahindra Satyam). They were offering very competent salaries to the graduates. Around 3.5 Lakhs per annum.
College Events
We had celebrated "Ripples-2004" in the academic year 2003-2004. It has given us an opportunity to share and exchange knowledge with many other university students
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible to all sections of the community. During 2001-2005 I paid around Rs.5000/- per year which is nominal and feasible. Later it was increased only to Rs.8000/- unlike other private colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility was available in those days with private and public sector banks. Now a days it is dealt with case based and being disbursed on income based.
Campus Life
Campus life is extraordinary. We have debates, technical sessions, knowledge sharing sessions. Sports and inter department competitions. Very energetic and strong youth participation.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very good with hygiene food and shelter. Even though they are old buildings but strong ones. Sanitary repairs are being attended on urgent basis.
Alumni/Alumna
The earlier batches and senior students are very energetic and knowledgeable. They had good academic record and performed well during the entire course.
Exam Structure
It is a little bit hectic since we had daily exams in continuation to one another. Unless it is a public holiday we had no gap in day to day exams. It can be an alternate day exam schedule.
Faculty
We had excellent faculty with lots of teaching experience. Had quite number of Professors, Asst.Prof and other Technical Assistants. Even Lab technicians were of very good knowledge.
