Entrance Preview

Entrance exam is EAMCET(Engineering And Medical common Entrance Test). I scored 6031 rank in Biology Stream. I opted this because of one and only reason, Research in Science. Here professors are best in teaching. I think their way of teaching motivates me to go for research.

Placement Experience

Out of 40 members on our batch 23 got placed. 3 companies came for placements. Omics International, Aurobindo Pharma, Hetero drugs, 18 members in Omics International (4,50,000 per annum2 members in Aurobindo Pharma(4,00,000 per annum)1 in hetero (4,20,000 per annum).

College Events

Every year college annual day fest will be organised for about 15-20 days. No classes will be conducted in those days. It is the largest fest over entire AU. College magazine will be circulated over entire state.

Fee Structure And Facilities

On the day of joining we have to pay 10000+3600. From second year to final year it will be 10000per year. So total fee will be 43,600 for 4 years.Fee is very very low when compared with private institutes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be provided as Books for Academic toppers (1st,2nd and 3rd) of about 1000rs each. University toppers will be honoured with gold medal and cash prizes(varies). Bank loan facilities are provided by SBI, Andhra University branch only. Students on M.Pharmacy will be getting stipend of worth 12,500 per month.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are best part to be in AU. There will be 2 students per room. Average monthly rental is 2300rs(2500 is max). Each room is equipped with 2 beds, 1 table, 1 chair and lockers are provided. Wifi facility with 50MBps.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

All my seniors are well settled. Some of them in India and some in abroad. Some are doing their Masters degree. 4 of our seniors again joined in Andhra University for their Masters.

Exam Structure

Only 1st year is year end. Rest of all exams will be held in 6months gap. Theory and practical will be completed in 12days only. But problem is that there won't be any gap between exam and exam.

Totally 60 percentage people will get placed,mostly boys have high chances to get placed in core industries like divis,hetero etc.and most probably girls like to place in medical coding industries with minimum salary of 15-20k per month

I applied to this college through the EAMCET counselling, it through my category that I got this seat in this college (I meant reservation). I have earlier applied to other colleges through CUET but the results of that exams are very much delayed and I had to choose one, also the colleges that I have applied to are very far the place I live, comparatively this college offers me the same curriculum and knowledge with the near distance, also I saw the ratings and did some research on internet regarding the college which turned out to be decent, these factors made me to choose this college over others. The exam that is accepted here is EAMCET, ECET if you are a candidate completed 12th grade in any recognised educational institution. By qualifying those exams and by your rank you will be given seats.
