Great College for Career

Though the college is high rated and renowned as the one of the best in the country basic facilities such as drinking water, toilets are not provided. Neatness is minimum. Class rooms are not cleaned. Campus is not maintained properly.

To join this college I wrote GATE exam. My GATE score is 375. I opted this college because it is one of the oldest and finest colleges in India. It is ranked under 10 among the colleges in the country.

Course curriculum is a bit fuzzy. The topics included in the curriculum are of high class but the time to study them is very less. All the subjects included in curriculum are very advanced and interesting.

No companies are allowed by the college for internship. But you can try out on your own and seek the colleges permission. General stipend of 8000/- is received from the central government scholarship.

Job opportunities for Btech students is great compared to Mtech students. Mtech students are eligible for only two companies they are INFOSIS with package 3.6 lakh's per anum and 240(including Btech and Mtech) got selected.IBM(only for girls) with package 3 lakh's per anum and 109(including Btech and Mtech) got selected.

Technical fests and cultural fests are conducted every year where all the college students around vishakapatnam and colleges around the country.Management events like department days and college days are celebrated fine.

Fees are less compared to private colleges as it is a government universityFee per semester is 15000/-Exam fee is additional and less which is 55/-

No but being an Mtech student I receive central government scholarship of Rs.8000/-. As of my knowledge college doesn't provide loan facility but a study loan can be availed

Campus life is great. Student activity in organizing the seminars and fests is good. Staff support is excellent. Female activity in organizing is good but the participation of girl students is less. International conferences and workshops are conducted which take the knowledge to next step.

Girls hostel fee is very minimum compared to the private hostels. Food is not so great. Facilities that you see in the college website are not observed in the hostel. Hot water facility is not provided. water scarcity is there during summers.

Seniors are very supportive and the guidance given by them is so valuable that helped in project and choosing the project guide. Seniors provided the subject material that helped in the exams.

Curriculum is full of exams. It feels like there are only exams and no classes. Exams are day-by-day leaving no time for preparation.

The faculty is quite good and very experienced. Interaction and communication with them is also easy. They have immense knowledge about the subject. Faculty is highly qualified.
