Its very good with the all the students are very co operative. The teaching staff show interest on our career and molded me into a very good resource for IT companies. The way the college make me a good discipline and punctual student in my life, I learn a lot from this college
Entrance Preview
We need to write either GATE or test conducted by the IIIT. Students who have good percentile in GATE are eligible for Stipend
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is designed in a way to make the student to involve more. Its very good and we got lot of hands on and research oriented curriculum. We have many electives and separate specializations. First year we have on computer networks, Design patterns, data structures and Algorithms
Internships Opportunities
Many company like Amazon, De shaw, Infor, Microsoft. I got internship offer from De shaw and worked for 6 Months with a stipend of 6000 per month. It was good experience and got scope of the industry very well in little time.
Placement Experience
Placements are good we have nice palcaement office who involve sincerly to get more on campus Job. 95% of the stusdents got job on campus and remaining are extended the course to complete their PHD from IIIT itself in their specialization.
College Events
The Annul Festival we conduct is Felicity. It is the annual technical and cultural fest of IIIT-H. Includes technical, cultural and literary events, Major nights, talks, workshops and performances etc. This usually happen in the month of February and this will happen for 2 days
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is high but students are eligible for internship and scholar ships. Merit student are excepted if they perform very proactive on their respective areas. The life is of good learning curve for student after their life they can earn more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholar ships will be provided based on the merit in the previous year. These scholar ships include discount in the Academic fee, free Books or a Lap top, concession in Room rate etc.
Campus Life
We have a two big ground to play cricket, Foot ball and hockey. one indoor badminton court, Basket ball court and Volley Ball. We have other research oriented activities to Show case every year we call this as R&D show case. No Politics involved, we all feel like happy home. My college days are gone fast like any thing.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel are very good and we have different options of food courts and Mess. We can choose on those based on our food conditions. The Mess food will be very good and we don't have any complaints on this in my 2 years. The rooms are very good with single occupancy with all facilities like WIFI, Hot water, Drinking water etc.
Alumni/Alumna
They added more thing to my life and helped in career as well. My seniors help us in the way that will make my thing faster and more as research oriented way. That help me more success in my career. i am in a good position now.
Exam Structure
We have better approach of learning and doing the activity, we usually perform some activity in the first 5 days of week and we have test every week to use that approach to solve a complex problem that occurs in the real life.
Faculty
They are very experienced and more knowledgeable in the specific area they teach. They provided us with job oriented practical training and Specialization oriented training based on student interest. The research activities that we performed in IIIT helped us a lot and the facility help used to work on more of result oriented approach for every solution.
