B Bhima's Review On Osmania University - [OU], Hyderabad

Management was good and there was a good relation between management and the students.

I took PG Entrance test conducted by osmania University in the year 1998.

It was very useful for further studies like Ph.D. Most of the course content is on Biochemistry,Immunology,Molecularbiology and medical microbiology rest of the content is on Industrial Microbiology.

There was no stipend for pursuing the M.Sc course in the Osmania University. The internship period was awesome. It was a great experience for me to pursue my M.Sc in the Department of Microbiology,Osmania University.

The job opportunities are good. Soon after we finished our M.Sc most of us got jobs either in private or government sectors.

Most memorable event is our fresher's party. It was organized by our seniors. Followed by farewell party which was organised by our classmates. In between we went to out station for tour and recreation.

This University is a public University. There was no fee at all with a little examination fee and admission fee we pursued our M.Sc in the University campus.

I did not get any scholarship during my M.Sc in fact University did not have that facility to provide any fellowship for pursuing M.Sc University provided us only mess facility and education.

Overall the campus life was awesome. We had cricket stadium on the campus and many other grounds to play other sports. Every day we use to go to the gym and use to keep our body fit.

Excellent facility the mess facility was awesome with little mess bill we use to enjoy the mess facility. The food was very tasty and every day evening we use to get non-veg.

Our seniors are friendly with us. Though little bit ragging was there we use to enjoy that even with our seniors we use to keep some friendly matches of cricket and other sports.

Our exam structure was in fact good. Ours was the annual examination system. We use to get lot of time to enjoy and reading books and preparing for examinations.

All the professors were good and they are very much qualified. Most of them had research projects sanctioned from national funding agencies. All the professors were working on Microbial Biotechnology.
