Course Curriculum Overview

Over the course of 4 years, we are taught elements and principles of design, spatial planning and development, Furniture layout and planning, Design research and methodology, and many other concepts. The course helps us in developing our aesthetic design with technical intelligence.

Placement Experience

Our seniors are given the facility of Portfolio & Resume building & training for interviews as part of Placement Services. They are also given an opportunity to showcase their skill set to numerous organizations upon successful graduation. Some of the companies that visit our campus are Ace Interior Solutions, Brigade, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid approximately 2 lac as my first-year fee. Since the course is of 4 years, the total tuition fee is around 4 lac 75 thousand. The payment was made in favor of ?SD Educational Trust? Additional expenses included that of travel, books, etc.

Campus Life

I am an active member of Nexgen Design Club which interacts with industry leaders. We are mentored by groundbreaking designers and they work on hypothetical problems and bring in design solutions for the problem of the future. Many other events are also organized for us.

Admission

After completing my high school study, I gave the Design Aptitude Test and scored well in it. After this, I was called in for an interview through which the final selection process for the course was done and I got my admission.

Faculty

Our faculty members teach us about the core concept of going beyond the curriculum and exploring things. The college also maintains a healthy Teacher: Student ratio which helps the teachers to closely mentor each one of us and guide us.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
