College analysis of Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University - [MPMSU]

The college aims to provide advanced knowledge in the field of medicine, research and technology. It include both theoretical and practical part with more emphasis on practicals. The college aspires to enhance the critical thinking and problem solving abilities of the students.

The course duration was 4 years+6 months and 1 year of internship. The course was pretty interesting and intriguing which included a lot of practical sessions. It was fun to learn and we were given a lot of research work to broaden our knowledge.

The college provides the students with a placement cell and and gives the opportunities of both government and private jobs. The college also provides the students with internships in the final year to provide them some exposure.

Our college takes its fees semester wise. The fee per semester is Rs. 1,64,000. The entire program is of 4 years 6 months with a total fee of Rs. 8.02 lakh. The fee is not very feasible for everyone but with the facilities that they are providing alone with the practical equipment, it is bound to be high.

The college also provides scholarships to students who come from a lower economic strata and are unable to pay the soaring fees. Through scholarships, they help the students achieve their dreams of becoming a medical practitioner and provide them with bigger opportunities.

The college organizes many events and activities on the campus throughout the year. The college organizes seminars and workshops to impart knowledge and exposure to the students. The labs are well maintained and equipped with necessary equipment to help the students with research.

The alumni of the college are well renowned medical practitioners today. the university occasionally calls the alumni to come and deliver speeches in the college to share their worldly experience with the students. The seniors are quite nice and friendly and look after the juniors.

To gain admission into the college, the candidate has to first give the NEET UG entrance exam. The eligibility criteria to give the exam is 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology + NEET. Once you have acquired the minimum number of marks to qualify the eligibility criteria and minimum passing marks in NEET, you have to go for medical counselling to select a college for yourself. Online admission form should be filled and submitted attached with the necessary documents.

The faculty in our college is quite subservient. The professors are congenial and communicative. The teaching is executed very well and the classroom environment is very hospitable, welcoming and friendly.
