Entrance Preview

I have given CET Common Entrance Test of panjab university. My elder bros have graduated from this university and they guide me for my better future. Although it is good university with peaceful and attractive campus around 2.8 Square km.

Internships Opportunities

Wipro ,Infosys, ICICI, HDFC, Mahindra tech and other private or public sector companies visit our campus time to time and offering good annual package. The highest package last year is 24 lakhs per annum by ICICI.

Placement Experience

From last batch of students 123 were placed from total of 140. The highest offering package was 22 lakhs. As mentioned above companies like wipro ,infosys, sunpharma,ICICI BANK, HDFC BANK other major public or private sector companies visit the campus last year.

Campus Life

My campus life is just awesome best hostel life ever .There are around 16340 students in our campus ratio of female:male must be 46:54. Freshers parties,welfare parties are organising at auditorium.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

DAV College does not offer strong campus placements for pure science courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology, The college has an active placement cell. In the science field, placements are rare unless you're in job-oriented programs

The curriculum for medical lab science students is different for each student as the lab hours are different for each lab. classes are held in the morning 8-9 am or after 2-5 pm so that it doesn't clashes with lab hours.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies are: LIC of India, ION digital zone, Teleperformance Mohali, WEBTUNIX, etc. 80-85% of students get placements. My aim is to join a company after getting a degree.

Faculty is well educated

Admission:

forms were filled.various colleges were selected and then counselling was done in the post graduate government college for girls sector 11.college were assigned on the bases of merit then we have to go to the assigned colleges and then fees was submitted and then college began after one week of fees submission
