Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is comprehensive and it covers the most basic concepts of computers to advanced concepts and programming languages. The course duration for MCA is three years divided into six semesters.
Placement Experience
MCA graduates are in demand from top IT institutions. There are many public and private sector companies that visit the university for recruitment. Students also must go for an internship and submit a project report at the end of the final year from one of the companies.
College Events
The cultural event called DISHA hosts many competitions such as theratre, puppet making, dance, singing, instrumentals etc. Apart from the cultural activities, there are also many academic activities that are planned for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee for MCA program is 60,000 per year. There is also a hostel fee of 4500 if the student wants to stay in the hostel. The fee must be paid every year at the start of academic year. Apart from hostel, there is an internet and library fee that is included in the annual fee.
Campus Life
The college has great infrastructure for the students. The campus has health care facility, a lecture theater and a very good cafeteria for refreshments. The library is equipped with latest books and magazines for the students.
Admission
For MCA Program the eligibility criteria includes 50% marks in bachelors degree and that the students must have studied mathematics in their school level. There is a merit test which will be conducted and the final admissions is decided based on these score
Faculty
The faculty are knowledgeable and they compete the classes on time. They also assign projects for students to understand the practical applications of the concepts learnt during the theory classes. The projects are assisted by the professors too.
