Ksms Reddy's Review On Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya - [GGU], Bilaspur

Got the admission through IIT JEE Mains, I scored about 131 marks and I got a rank of 60,897. I chose this college as I don't have any choice due to the matter of fact that I had a bad score.

Nothing much different from NIT's but this college differs a lot from NIT's in placements and in organising events. The college offers a total of 7 courses in B.Tech.

To be frank, Our college doesn't has any such records till date. We don't even have proper placements, so we don't consider about internships to take place in our college.

For the first time, our students (3 students from CSE branch)got placed with a highest package of 8.5 lakhs per annum from a Videogame company in Hyderabad.

The only Techfest that is conducted in our college is equilibrio. A part from that we don't even have a fresher's party also. The college regulations won't agree even if we try to do so by our own.

1st year-18,500, 2nd year-19,000, 3rd year-21,000, 4th year-21,000. By this structure one can see that it is very feasible in terms of fees, so one can complete his bachelors degree with less than 1,00,000 fees.

They don't offer any kind of such loans or scholarships. We even don't require one as our fee structure is very feasible.

There's no any kind of diversity either due to caste or religion or region. The college provides a healthy atmosphere for good friendships as the students come from different parts of the country.

I don't live in the hostel as they don't provide accommodation for all students. It's provided only if one can cross the minimum cutoff.

Seniors help us in all aspects such as studies, extra curricular activities, giving necessary guidance for future. But the alumni won't be much active in such aspects.

Generally, students won't get stressed a lot, but the N-2 rule is considered a bane for many of the students.

The faculty are not that much good both in terms of qualification and teaching. The standards can't be compared to that of NIT's and IIT's as ours is just a centrally funded institute.
