Remarks
The IGU is working hard to educate the students all over the nation. The university is a budding institute with a lot of energetic people working there for building it. The university not just aims at producing graduates but also teaches them to be socially responsible person.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is framed to make the students learn all sorts of programming and coding technologies. We learn various concepts of the software programs. We also have lab classes and practical papers for each semester. There is a self study paper to be created at each semester. The students have to take seminars that should be out of the syllabus.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are comparatively low at present. This is because it's been only 6 years since the university is established. And the another reason is the area where the institute is located. It's completely an upcoming institute and it will take few more years for a maximized placement record. But one thing to be appreciated is that the students who are placed so far are at good jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is not that much cosy compared to other institutes. For MCA I have paid around ?.22,000 for my first year. The fees will be around ?.22,000 for each year of study. There might be some slight changes in the amount according to the changes made by the university every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students from SC and ST communities are helped by the SC/ST cell to get scholarships. They help the students to receive all the respective schemes provided by the government as per their regulations.
Campus Life
The university have few cells for the benefit of students in the campus. The SC/ST cell helps the students of those community to get scholarships. There are also women cell and anti sexual harassment cell to protect all the women in the campus. The HR & development cell helps the students in career guiding.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, we have provision for accommodation inside the campus. There are separate hostel for both boys and girls. The fees will be around ?.8,000 for each year. The rooms are provided with basic furniture items, geyser, cupboards, etc. The food cooked in the mess is healthy.
Admission
The procedure for getting admitted into MCA course is based on your UG marks. The university selects students who have merit score in their UG degree. There is no particular eligibility criteria regarding your UG stream. But you should have got a minimum of 50% score and a mathematics paper up to 12th grade. But however BCA students get higher priority.
Faculty
All the faculties of the department have a wide range of specialization in teaching. Our Satender sir is highly experienced in search engine optimization. Our Rajkumar sir is specialized in handling information hiding techniques and network security. The concept of big data and artificial intelligence us handled by Savita mam while Reena mam handles topics like data warehousing, data mining, etc.
