Remarks
The institute provided me with the best of education from best of well-experienced teachers enabling the engineer to be made out of us. The environment of the institute was relaxing and stress free, we could do our researches and explore more, all the people were humble and polite.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was 2 years long and the curriculum was relaxing and stress free. The 2 years are divided into 4 semesters and each semester is divided into 3-4 subjects along with the practicals and communication language subject. The projects are taken on the semester basis and we are asked to do internships by the end of second year The externals and internals are taken regularly.
Placement Experience
The placements are organised at the end of second year and various organisations including government come and counsel us, we need to take an entrance examination for government sector although private ones take interviews and we are selected on the basis of our merit and academic performance.
College Events
All of the events were celebrated at the college, including farewell/freshers, sports day, annual day, national ocean meets, cultural events etc. The diversity of the college is united by the events organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees was submitted yearly through offline and online methods like DD, Cheque, Debit/Credit cards payments. The first year fees is INR 50,000 and the total fees for 2 year course around INR 1 Lakh which was totally feasible given the exposure college provided.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the campus was beautifully constructed, along with big playground and sports activity area. The labs and libraries were fully equipped with up-to date materials. The models were given on the engineering basis and also the marine life equipment were available for us to know their use.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels were constructed nicely with 2 separate buildings of boys and girls, The rooms had one bedroom, one study table, and cupboards separately for all the students. The washrooms were cleaned and properly maintained, mess had disciplined timings with proper healthy food given. The hostel was guarded by the security 24*7 making it a safe and secure environment.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni meet used to happen every year and the ex-seniors addressed us with their experience and exposure given to them. The alumni was helpful and acted like guides for all the students and delivered lectures to encourage us.
Admission
The admission was on the basis of entrance exam NET/JRF and Btech course, i applied for the same through their official website and got my name in the first list. I was further called for the interview session and was asked about the course selected, after the final selection, i submitted the fees of the first year to the college.
Faculty
The faculty at the college is very noble and all are scholars with PHD degrees. They have all the experience in the respective fields and teach us. All are very humble and helpful, and are fluent in english which led to no communication gap.
