Sri Sathya Sai Institute for Higher Medical Sciences gave me the experience of my life. Every day I learnt something new. With premium-quality education, it provides a wonderful adventure. I miss all my classmates and teachers, they all are so close to my heart.
Course Curriculum Overview
The DNB course is offered in 5 specializations - Anaesthesiology, Radio-Diagnosis, Cardiology, CTVS and Neurosurgery. I chose Neurosurgery for my DNB. It is a three year full-time course, providing deep knowledge of the subject and the latest techniques employed.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are not up to mark. Only minimum opportunities are available. After graduating from this college, students can get easily appointed at any medical institute and health care services. They can easily start their own work as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible for post graduate courses as these courses require experienced staff and latest technology. My yearly fees for INR 21,000 which is minimum in terms of quality of education offered.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are included to make the subject interesting. Seminars are conducted on a weekly basis to address the problems of students, problems occurring in society. Several clubs are made from sports to singing, to provide students with entertainment.
Admission
After completing MBBS course, students are eligible to apply for DNB in this college. Seats in this course are allotted on the basis of the DNB - CET score. A counselling session is conducted after which candidates are allotted seats. Only 12 seats are available so it's a tough competition.
Faculty
Faculty is really well trained. They have great knowledge of their respective subjects. They all are very well qualified and trained. They were always there to guide us. They always wanted us to give our best and during surgeries, they always push us forward.
