Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum focuses on every aspect of journalism and media. In the college, the course is not restricted to news channels but we are also given a detailed knowledge of PR, advertising, and current global scenario.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is great. Before the process begins, workshops are conducted to prepare us for the interviews. Once we are in the final year, various companies come and recruit the deserving candidates. The college has all the necessary arrangements for interviews and online tests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college takes fees on semester basis. For the first and second semester, it is Rs.3,760/-. For third and forth semester, the fees is Rs.3,975. The fees for the last 2 semesters is Rs.3,760/-. It is quite reasonable and affordable for us.

Campus Life

The college has a great infrastructure and full of facilities. We have labs and auditoriums for guest lectures. The place is simply amazing. It actively participates in all the important festivals and special days.

Admission

The admission process for me was pretty simple. All I needed was a good percentage in 12th and the college has an entrance interview on the basis of which I got the admission. This process is for both the distant learners and regular students.

The faculty is good. The teachers help us through all the problems and teach us every topic in depth so that we are not only prepared for the exams but we know what the current media trend is and how to learn from it for improvement.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
