Course Curriculum Overview

Diverse practical experiments are conducted by the department with full sincerity. The theory of various plants and their characteristics is explained in a better way by research, experiments, and tests.

Placement Experience

Events and seminars are held where companies are respectfully invited to see the potential of the students who participate in a number of activities. Other than that, there's a placement cell which keeps the students posted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course in the first semester including all other charges was INR 30k which was affordable for me as I have a stable financial situation. For others, it's a challenging task to pay the amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly, grand scholarships for students who clear the National Level Entrance exam is availed. Then, students who hold the domicile certificate of Karnataka are granted scholarships too. Student loans are offered as well.

Campus Life

Popular are the youth festivals and academic programs of the University of Horticulture Sciences. Each year alumni, scholars, start-up companies are invited to address the students and engage with them.

Admission

KEA-CET is the entrance test that is conducted by the Karnataka Administration Authority for each B.Sc course in different specialization. But, only applicants with a science background can appear for it.

Alert and engaging are the right adjectives for the faculty members. They are 24*7 available to support the students despite their hectic schedules. Procrastination is completely avoided by the professors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

The main reason to choose the course was that I wanted to get into medicine but since I was not allotted I got into this which also had a good scope. The college has a good faculty-student ratio. Faculty members are well qualified with minimum qualification of M.Sc.(Agri) in the top University

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
