Course Curriculum Overview
The university has designed the course curriculum is such a way that a student can give more attention to the practical aspects of the curriculum. The course for lab subjects was different and all the students have to make journals for the practical courses and subjects. In my view, there were many hectic days and their final exams every year while internals with the limited course before the final exams. There were practical exams also after the final theory examinations.
Placement Experience
There are both options for a job like private and government at the university. However, many students apply for these jobs directly by consulting the firm. In the case of government jobs, the forms are available online while some private institutes come for placement interviews. Also, there are internships are available at university hospitals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
At the Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, every year the fee structure changes but I paid around 8 lakhs for a five-year bachelor's degree that comes to 1.64 lakh per semester. Also, the university provides several benefits of paying the fees per the installment structure which lets the students pay the fees feasibly.
Campus Life
As a part of extracurricular activities, sudden death prevention day was organized. Also, there were several sports for the students, free health check-ups, many health awareness programs, and workshops. Students had almost equal political and economic status at the university with equal gender ratio but there was no unity.
Alumni/Alumna
After the final exams, the students worked at the hospital for 6 months or in some cases 1 complete year so after my lab hours, I got a chance to meet one alumni student. We talked much after which my head was clear about the exams and all about the university. The seniors were helpful but very less interaction with them.
Admission
In this state university, I got admission through the NEET score and the marks of the entrance exam. Although, for evaluation, the higher secondary marks are taken into consideration. The admission process was online and offline while the counseling process was offline after I cracked the entrance test. The university requires all the relevant documents in the application form.
Faculty
The faculty were dedicated o surpass the knowledge and skills they had while working at the reputed hospital for many years. They shared their professional views of learning and how they implement during the practical work at the hospital. Also, they gave more emphasis on the research work.
