The course duration is of one year consists of 2 semesters in total. It aims for training the personnel in design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, moulds etc. By the end of course, the institute hopes that the students are well versed in designing and production. The curriculum is different for each topic .It helps to keep the students involved with whatever they are learning.

There's a project work assigned to students which is kind of an internship for 5 months time on which students are marked. Apart from that, students are prepped well so as to get placement after completion of their course. There are also workshops conducted so that the students are prepared during the time of their internship.

Fee is reasonable as compared to the private institutions which offers the same degree Fee is to be submitted by SBH Challan which is at walking distance from the institute. Apart from the academic fee if you need hostel facility which is inside the campus (for boys and girls both) you need to pay semester wise. Also there is canteen facility available being run on contract.

Many workshops and activities are conducted in this institute. Apart from that the students celebrate festivals like holi and diwali within the campus. As the college is linked with Osmania University and Jawaharlal Lal Technical University, students are allowed to participate in the tech fest of these respective institutes.

The National and International trainees are accommodated in the Hostels available in the campus with recreation facilities. The college provides hostel accommodation to the students so as to provide a proper homely as well a learning environment for the outstation students. The hostels are equipped with all required facilities.

The college is in constant touch with its alumni members. The seniors are extremely helpful to their juniors. The campus is ragging free. Seniors also help the juniors settle down in the college life.

For the admission for the M.E. and M.tech programs, students must hold a B.E./ B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Mechatronics or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Admission will be granted based on score obtained in CUCET.

The faculties are all industry specialists who know nook and corner of their respective subjects. They believe in practical understanding of the subjects and therefore teach using an effective methodology. They take their time in teaching the students and are also available to clear any doubts the students have.
