Rahul Mitawa's Review On IIT Delhi - Indian Institute Of Technology [IITD], New Delhi

Overall college is one of the best. When after completion you get the good job with high packages it feel good and you forget all the struggle which you have done in college life. But if the academic life become more flexible then there is nothing better than this college. So that is my thoughts.

I gave IIT JEE exam in 2011 and got selected foo IIT delhi scored 285 out of 480 and at that time according to JEE score delhi mechanical was best option and rather than this i have interest in mechanical.

Course curriculum was lengthy and tough contains many topics Thermodynamics,Refrigeration,mechanics,solid mechanics,kinematics all course content is basically related to physics basics concept which have broad practical use.

More than 200 companies come for internship and the stipend very vastly. Some pay more than 50k per month and some do not pay its very company wise. But world's top most companies come for internship like DB,facebook,Microsoft.

All students who applied got placed and more than 500 companies came for placement i can't write all names even i do not know which one came or which did not come. Some of them are Facebook,microsoft,google,delhivery,lexinova,american express,DB (bank),Mc.

Cultural fest rendezvous It is india's famous cultural fest in which more than 300 college all over india's participate. Technical Tryst In this fest engineering college mostly participates. Main attraction in this is robotics events.

Fee structure was very well defined and structured and the fee is also very less and if your family earn less than scholarship also available by IIT side.

Yes IIT provide scholarship MCM in which IIT pay academic fees of all those students whose family income is less than 4.5 lakh of a year. Beside this there is another scholarship for topper students.

Campus life was too good and lots of extracurricular activities was always going on. Gender ratio was 1 girl out of 10 boys that is too less. Hostel parties was rocking and robotics and debates event was at very expert level.

In fisrt and second year hostel room was shared by two guys. But in 3rd and 4th year its one on one. The rent for a semester was about 18000 and the food quality was decent best part was we could mutually decide the menu.

As there are common hostel for junior and seniors so in every turn juniors have to interact with senior so that how students have good bonding with seniors. Besides this there is lots of events where students meets alumni.

The exam day was very hectic because we have to give 2 or 3 exams in day. Structure for semester 2 minor exams 1 major exam and lab was very frequent.

Faculty was india's top most talent guys. But they taught very deep that some time one might not follow them that deep and got confused but other than this they have very broad knowledge.
