The experience is a once in a life time opportunity of study and be part of a world class institute.

IIT JEE 2010, AIR 669, It offered the desired courses and another factor was proximity to parents. Besides that, IIT-D had a strong placement background.

Course curriculum was exhaustive and electives allowed you to have a minor degree in a stream of your choice, i.e. other than the major degree course which you have registered for.

Internship experience is less than satisfactory due to weak Institute-Industry relations. Generally, there was no dedicated cell to look after internships. The general stipend ranged from 0 - 20000 INR.

Placement cell was well established with the leading companies visiting the campus for placements. The companies ranged from consultancy firms to banks to manufacturing cos to IT firms to PSUs.

The college hosts various technical and cultural events throughout the year. The highlights are the cultural festival Rendezvous and the technical festival Tryst.

Fee structure was very feasible given that it is a Govt. Institute. Scholarships such as Merit - cum - Means were also offered to students. Many students were also provided with student loans if required.

Extracurricular activities and sports were very good with almost all facilities available for the students. Various clubs organized competitions for robotics, debates which were of a very high standard.

Hostel facilities were not upto the mark for an institute of this stature. Bathrooms were hardly cleaned and facilities like washing machines/water cooler etc were few and far between.Mess food varied between satisfactory and unedible.

Alumni Network is very strong and holds regular meeting and cultural events and reunions.College seniors were very helpful and supportive of juniors in all their endeavors including career counselling.

2 minor and 1 major exam were held during a curriculum year. This schedule lead to a very hectic experience and labs and practicals added to the work load.

The Faculty was very experienced with a proven pedagogy in their respective fields. However, there was an adherence to traditional methods of teaching rather than innovations.
