Course Curriculum Overview
The program involves in-depth laboratory and Kitchen work for students to acquire required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of Food Production (various Cuisine of Indian and International), Food Handling, Hygiene and food safety standard. This filed has always fascinated me thus I study all my subjects with utmost concentration.
Placement Experience
The placement at ICI are just fabulous, being a government institute a number of famous hotels come here to hire students and provide a handsome salary . We get a chance to work with the greats of the industry and learn a lot from them, moreover placement rates are really high close to 90%.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees at ICI is minimal, the fees for my course is ?1.5 Lakhs per year, making the total fees for the course 4.5 lakh rupees. The fees is to be paid in 3 equal installments.The facilities at ICI definitely justify the fees.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are also promoted at our college, we have music, dancing, dramatics and sports club where students participate in a number of activities and even throughout the year. The environment at ICI is really great and it? easy to find a peer group. The students are polite and create an environment where everybody learns and grows together.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of ICI id very strong, the past year students have been paced in good hotels and restaurant , the alumni are also very generous in providing opportunities to budding chefs. Moreover, students can get placed at good hotels through employee recommendations made by the alumni.
Admission
Admissions are done on the basis of an entrance exam however the qualifying examination, which is the senior secondary examination(10+2). A minimum of 50% marks are required to be scored in all subjects, then came the entrance exam where i scored 85%and got admitted at ICI. Post selection i visited the campus for fees submission and documents verification . I had always dreamt of joining ICI.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is well experienced and has decades of experience, the teachers pay utmost attention to every student to ensure that everybody learns quickly and effectively.Professors have been chefs at popular restraunts and thus teach us the tricks of the trade.
