Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum structure of LLM (Master of Laws) has the 2 streams. International Trade Law and the second one is Maritime Law and must have passed graduation from a recognized University and the minimum passing criteria for the course is about 55 percentile.

Placement Experience

Many renowned companies visited the campus for placements such as Maersk Line, MSC, Directorate General of Shipping: Govt. of India, Kings & Partridges, Ganesh & Co., B.H Legals, Altacit Global, Directorate General of Trade Remedies, APM Terminals, Singhania & Partners, Federation of M.P. Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Bhopal, Adani Port, and Velji P & Sons.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. LLM (Master of Laws) in Maritime Law is 1.20lakh INR with full-time course duration. And for the international trade law fee structure is also feasible. And the total fee amount is 1 lakh INR for total time.

Campus Life

The library of law books is well maintained and structured in a professional manner. There are a big courtroom and a moot court hall for 500 students maximum. There is no tolerance with regard to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, and economic status.

Admission

Admission to LLM (General) course will be granted based on Merit in the combined law aptitude test (CLAT) whereas admission to LLM (Professional) program will be granted based on candidates' performance in the Bachelor's degree program, motivation letter, and personal interview.

Faculty

The faculty shall be sourced through a mix of academicians and industry personnel. GMU is collaborating with many International Maritime Institutions which are considered to be the best in the world. Faculty of national and global repute shall be invited to teach specific modules of their expertise and a few modules shall be taken up by the renowned faculty of GNLU including the Prof DR.(S. Shanthakumar).

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

I have chosen IMBA for taking the experience of internship thrice because in our college there are 3 internships and it starts after 3rd year and has international immersion the quality of faculty and reviews teaching method is very good and exams were taken on time and it was quite difficult to pass the exams.
