A university with greater values than education

I scored 93.7 in the 12th board exam and GUJCAT jointly. With this score, I was able to choose any college in Gujarat but I chose DDU as it is the finest college in Gujarat for obtaining education along with discipline.

It is a deemed university and course is very much to the point as well as NAAC certified. The first years consists various subjects seful for other branches like electrical, mechanical and civil.

The last semester is compulsory internship in this university. Mostly no stipend is offered as you are still a student. I was in computers so companies like TCS, Cybage, infibeam, Infosys, capegemini, wipro and tech mahindra came for campus placements.

The placements are one of the best in Gujarat. Most of the students are placed in second last semester and some new companies come each year. Already mentioned the companies coming each year.

Clarotechnico is the biggest event organised each year. Apart from this multi branch event, a separate event is held from each branch for example resonance from EC, spandan from Civil etc.A big culture fest is also there for 5 days every year.

Considering the quality of education and facilities, fee structure is feasible. One of the best thing here is the university is half granted by the government therefore the students with higher grades in 12th have to pay minimal fee for the same education.

Civil branch of DDU has a quota for the students of Mizoram. Also as I mentioned in the fee structure, students with higher grade can take seat of granted quota and can have the same quality of education by paying only exam and library fees.

Overall, it is a campus for all kinds of students. On the very first day, the vice Chancellor gives the message to respect girls and be a good human rather than an average engineer. Politics, harassment, racism, ragging and groupism is almost zero. People unite in each event held by management.

I myself have been in the college boys hostel for 1 year and as far as I remember, the ambiance and infrastructure of the hostel is really good. It is bit strict if we compare with other boys hostels. And yes, mess food is average. You can eat lunch for sure.

DDU has a strict examination system. Except for final semester, each quarter has 3 internals, 1 oral, 1 practical and 1 external exam of every subject.If you miss any of above, you have to give it again.

The faculty here are having proper education required in an engineering firm. In initial year, you may find fresh faculty giving lectures but that too would be in less important subjects. In final years, they have best faculties.
