My College Experience

The course curriculum for my course is very dynamic and classes are held on regular basis. The course structure is extensively researched and formulated . The course covers all the important topics and theories and has been designed to ensure that students understand the concepts in a better manner. Moreover, state of the art labs are there to facilitate experiment based studies.

The placements at my college are really good, the university is accredited by the UGC so the students are placed easily, the placement rates are around 90% and we also have a placement cell which is specifically formulated for the sole purpose of ensuring good placements for students. Internship fairs are organized twice in an year where students can apply to a variety of companies.

The fees structure for my course is very simplifies, we have to pay ? 23,335 per year. The total fees for the course is rupees 70.005, which is to be paid in 3 equal installments. The University offers many facilities to us so I think the fees is okay and provides value for money to the students.

A number of scholarships are offered to the students to finance there studies, usually when it comes to PG courses the criteria for scholarships is the marks you score in your entrance exam, students with exuberant marks are awarded with scholarships. A scholarship can be in the form of fees waiver or monetary benefit.

Extracurricular activities are also promoted at our college, we have nss, arts, music, dancing, dramatics and sports club where students participate in a number of activities and even throughout the year. The environment at Davangere University is really great and it? easy to find a peer group here. You can chill in and around the campus.

The admissions at Davangere University are done on the basis on an entrance test, which is conducted nation wide. I passed the exam with good marks and was granted admission into this great University. Post selection I was called for the orientation programme where I was briefed about the rules of the college and it's facilities.

The faculty is well trained and professional in there conduct, they ensure students get ample of chances to enhance there capability. The professors are very polite and make sure that students understand concepts properly, they also host discussions sessions for better understanding. Teachers are pretty strict so we have to be disciplined in the classes.
