Positive remark will help everyone; we live like a family and help each other. The campus placement here is only help is provided. Campus and hostel are clean daily. And last but not least, the curriculum is more oriented towards the industry needs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The institute offers courses such as M.Tech, Postgraduate Diploma, and Diploma. Central Institute of Tool Design provide ME program in two disciplines with 50 seats at the PG level. The candidates from SC/ ST category will be given a reduction of 5% total marks in the qualifying examination.
Placement Experience
100% of students were placed in by CITD. The placements are quiet good and the least package nearby by the companies are 1.6 LPA and maximum students are placed in companies and many of them are continuing their job and remaining are going for higher studies. 50-60% of students got internship capability. The highest paid was 15k and the lowest paid was 5k for internships. The eligibility percentage is based on the companies, it's better to get 75%. 50%+ of the students got the internship and the remaining is doing their own project.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of CITD is very feasible as compare to other institutes. The tuition fee for Diploma in Engineering is Rs. 10, 8000 and for M.Tech specializations is Rs. 37,000 and for the Postgraduate Diploma is Rs. 81.000
Campus Life
CITD has a developed special library with a collection of 9424 technological books on various disciplines of Tool engineering and related subjects. It is equipped with the latest Metrology facilities like Measuring Machine, Height Masters, Computerized 3D Coordinate Measuring Machine, Universal Measuring Machines, Optical Profile Projector, Surface Roughness etc., and undertakes a check of Tools/Components.
Admission
Candidates must have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)/ Diploma in Tool, Die & Mould Making DTDM/Diploma in Production Engineering DPE or equivalent. Interested students can apply offline by downloading the application form from organization website. After that you have to receive the application form and prospectus from the Training Department of the institute. The hardcopy of the downloaded application form, duly filled-in, shall be sent to the college with required in formation. Admission is based on the score obtained in entrance exam conducted by Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD).
Faculty
About 25 faculty members are trained in Advanced Tooling Techniques under ILO association; inform training to the candidates on the State of the Art Tooling Technology available in the Institute. The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is applicable making us industry ready and helps us to become entrepreneurs getting more information from faculty. As faculty members are very active and well-organized.
