I basically took GSEB board exams and then took GUJ-CET to enter it. However for other state students the procedure is different and even for gujarat students now we have to give IIT-JEE to get an entry there are no sponsor seats.

The course curriculum is extensive covering a wide range related pharmacy field, the teachers are experienced and good, it has a good research facilities. Basically first year is dedicated to bring Maths student upto par with biology and same viceversa.

Unfortunately Department of pharmacy does not provide internship atleast upto my knowledge. However the stipend is provided by AICTE to Masters and PhDs. Also the PHds are encouraged for teaching assistantship probabaly without any more increment.

Since the intake of pharmacy students are less generally there is a bleak placement record for pharmacy graduates. Last time only one company came which was Intas Pharmaceutical ltd which gave a placement of about 1.8 lac per year to about 5 students .

Generally due to less fees no good scholarship are available.but nonetheless financial help is provided to backward classes. Also it has to be noted that girls have a substantial reduction in all fees in respect to each costs as mentioned above. Loan is generally not necessary as students often help finanacially backward students.

Alumni network is good. We generally have an interaction with them atleast once a year however detailed interaction is not there. Regarding senior student you are fully dependent on them for notes, events interactions etc. And most of the times they are great with similar regio- economic status and background.

Exams were tough no doubt like any premier institute, Labs were focused too generally atleast 4 times out of 6 days on an average. The main concern was marks giving which was very strict and would hamper your future if great marks are required. Being hectic is not that a problem since even though it is a bit tough you can manage with proper planning.

The faculty at MSU is as experienced and renowned as the university itself. All the teachers have a broad grasp on subjects and a wide experience of field both in industry and research sector. Most of them are highly enthusiastic to teach. The teachers themselves have to pass through a broad screening process to be selected. Very recently Pharmacy department has drawn its own niche, when a faculty member got a government grant of about 2 crore for HIV/AIDS research.
