Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the subjects were mandatory in the Computer Engineering only last semester had an optional full-time project vs small project +3 subjects as optional.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience was excellent. There were a lot of companies which had come for offering internship for the final semester project. I was offered stipend during internship and was also offered job after the internship was over.
Placement Experience
Excellent placements in Nirma. Average salary being offered was 2.5 lacks. Infosys,Tech mahindra,Satyam,e-infochip were some of the companies which came for campus placements.
College Events
There were a lot of events which used to be organised at college level some which I remember are robotics,annual day function,sports day functions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Free seats were quite cheap but the payment seats were expensive. But now i believe only payment seats are offered. Payment seat costed Rs 40000 at that time.
Campus Life
Campus life was cool. Lot of fun. Lot of extracurriculars for those who were interested. Some support from faculty for extra curriculars. No discrimination towards gender, ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation,politics and economic status.
Hostel Facilities
No hostels. Food was awesome Huge Food Couts and very captious. Enough variety of food at all times.
Alumni/Alumna
It was okay nothing special. It could have been better. Networking was not that good with aluminus. But one to one bonding with seniors was possible.
Exam Structure
Yes days were hectic and very less time to chill out. Attendance was mandatory and lab session were critical.
Faculty
Mixed reaction on the faculty. Some were pathetic with superficial knowledge and adamant attitude. While there were couple of faculty who were really good in their department.
