Almost all IIMs follow a similar course structure with focus on basic concepts and theories of all domains in first year and exploring in detail of them in the second year. IIM Rohtak follows case study approach rather than just explaining the theory.

Almost all the 2nd Gen IIMs follow a similar fee structure. Fee for 2 year PGDM course is somewhere around 10.5 lakhs.Students can avail educational loans from various banks at lower interest rates (subjected to the changes in bank policies). Students who excelled in academics received scholarships.

Sports and Cultural committees come up with many events, activities and parties. IIM Rohtak also houses interest driven clubs where one can live up to his passion/hobbies. Our batch had a 1:1 gender ratio. All regional/state festivals are celebrated here along with the tasty food on that special day (like kerala special food during Onam). IIM Rohtak has got the best of the infra, Auditoriums and sports complex than any other IIM.Campus life is all about exploring your interests and fulfilling them.

Don't expect an AC room with a view as you are not here for holiday/vacation. But hostel rooms are pretty decent with basic amenities like washing machine, RO purified water. Mess is run by a student body called "Hospitality Committee". They handle all the food related issues and make sure that tasty and hygenic food is served to the student community.

Alumni Committee conducts regional alumni meets. Alumni bring the insights on industry, work at organization and many other through webinars, campus visits and city level meet-ups

Each course would be either 2 credit or 3 credit. For a 2 credit course there would be 2 minor exams and 1 end term examFor a 3 credit course there would be 2 minor exams, 1 mid term and 1 end term exams.In addition to these exams, students are continuously evaluated through case study presentations, group tasks and individual assignments.

IIM Rohtak sets a platform to learn from well qualified in-house faculty who excelled in those domains and visiting faculty from other IIMs and also experts from industry. IIM Rohtak also hosts many guest lectures where students interact with C-level executives and other eminent speakers who created ripples in the industry.
