Remarks
The degrees awarded by the university are recognised by national statutory bodies like MCI, DCI, Indian nursing Council, Central council of Indian Medicine, Central council of Homeopathy. The university strives to keep up the standards of education by strictly following the rules governing each course as per the decisions of the respective councils.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course had a duration of 4 and 1/2 years with 1 year of internship. the course curriculum was pretty interesting and fun to learn. The lab and practical sessions were quite intriguing and and gave us a better idea than theory, so that is a plus point. We also had a lot of extensive research work which helped us absorb all the details better and gave us a wider scope. The exams took place twice a year, once per semester and the internals happened before the exams. It helped us prepare ourselves for the exams well.
Placement Experience
Since the college has recently been established in 2014, the placements are great and will excel even more in a few years. The companies coming to campus for selection are Apollo Health Care, Deloitte, Samsung, Sony, etc. offering an enormous package.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is 58,560 INR payable on a yearly basis for the Open Category students. For the people belonging to the backward classes and such as OBC, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, the fees is lower that is 56,680 INR. It is quite feasible for the college with respect to the facilities provided and the demanding course and can be paid in installments.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are grant-in-aid to students who wants to pursue education at Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal. Scholarships can be very helpful to the students who come from a lower economic strata and are unable to pay the high fees of the college.
Campus Life
Apart from the high quality education, the college also provides the students with wifi, a Library with over a thousand books for reference, a sports center with many options, Transportation to and from college campus, Hostels for the people coming from out of town, Healthcare facilities, Internet on campus for the students, a Cafeteria with healthy and wholesome food, computer Labs for their research work, etc.
Hostel Facilities
the hostel infrastructure is quite good and worthy of staying in. the rooms are double sharing and spacious with basic amenities, a clean bathroom, wifi for the students and meals 3 times a day. There is local transportation also provided to the students in case the people living in the hostel have to go to the city.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college are doing very well and have been placed into great institutions after graduation. They are invited to visit the college often and give lectures and seminars to the juniors. The seniors are very helpful towards the juniors and are always up for supporting them in anything and everything they take up.
Admission
To get admission into the college, the candidate has to give the NEET UG entrance exam which is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test by registering on the official website. The eligibility criteria to gain admission in the college is 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology + NEET. Once you are done with the NEET exam and have acquired the minimum passing marks, you have to go for counselling.
Faculty
The faculty had brushed up with their ground work pretty well and were well prepared with whatever they are going to teach us. The classroom environment was nice and friendly and nothing was too formal. The teachers chose to be informal with us so they seemed even more approachable and kind.
