Course Curriculum Overview
The structure is well designed by the institute as there are three semesters of an average of three months for a two-year master's degree. The faculty took midterm submissions and a small exam of half of the syllabus after that the results were declared immediately. There was final submission at the end of the semester after which there were final exams for every semester.
Placement Experience
The institute is known for the jobs and placement ratio as more than 200 companies come to hire students of all the streams. They selected some particular students who were able to crack the different sections of the interview like group discussions, written tests, and personal interviews. Also, the university provides internships at the institute with whom they had a tie-up and an average stipend.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees are 20 lakhs for a two-year master's degree at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies which is very expensive as per my perspective and also for other students. On the other hand, students paid in willingly as there were great academics and job prospects at reputed companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the institute, I have not seen any student availing the scholarship and some students take private or government loans for the payment of fees. There are options to avail of the loan by some private sector for which students get information from the institutes' admission center.
Campus Life
As a part of extracurricular activities, a welcome event for freshers is organized called Manan. There is a group of a committee was formed by the students to organize different events like student council meeting, financial committee, and SRF relations committee. The ratio of boys and girls is almost the same and the environment is good between students in terms of unity.
Admission
The student from any stream who has completed a graduate degree is fully eligible for this course of Master of Business Administration. The cut of scores of 60% and above increases the chances of admission in the institute. The admission is based on the NMAT score and personal interview with a written test at the campus. Faculty
The faculty provided great content to the students and took extra lectures if necessary and insisted by the students to gain extra knowledge or complete the syllabus. The institute appointed a particular faculty to teach specific subjects as that faculty had done specialty in that specific stream.
