Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very effective and designed according to its recent technology. The academic year consists of two semester. There are total eight semester which spreads over four years. Theory and practical papers are included in the course curriculum. There are internal assessment and final examination. Final examination are conducted in every six month.

Placement Experience

The institute have a well established training and placement cell. The institute organizes many career counselling programmes which provides information to the students about the recent career options.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is good. In every semester we have to pay around 90000 rupees. The total fees of the four years course is around 7,20000 lakh rupees which include 20000 rupees per semester for hostel fees, tution fees 80000 rupees per semester, admission fees 10000 rupees which is a one time fees. Besides these, we have to pay 945 rupees every year for Medical Insurance Premium.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities provides a very good platform for the students to develop their hidden talents. Many competitive activities like design events, quizes, stimulation and modelling, drama etc are organized by the institute.

Hostel Facilities

The institute provides excellent hostel accommodation. All essential facilities are available inside the hostel campus. Each room is furnished with double bed, study table, wardrobes. Many facilities provided by the hostel are backup facility, solar water facility, Internet facility etc.

Admission

The admission process in our depends upon the results in the higher secondary examination. Admission is based on the result in 12 th standard and on the basis of marks obtained in JEE entrance examination.

Faculty

The teachers of our institute are very co-operative and polite. They try to make students understand by practical examples. The quality of teaching is very good in our institute. Teachers gives importance in quality education of the students.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Unveiling the path to success: IIIT RAICHUR

The admissions procedure at IIIT raichur was really simple. I took an admission exam, and there were clear submission rules for the online application process. The cut-off points were clear and in line with the prerequisites for the course. The college website (iiitr.ac.in) made it easy to find information on the apllication form , csts, and deadlines , which streamlined the application process. Due to the well documented benefits of reservations , everyone who are apllicable was guaranteed equal oppurtunity. Although, the procedure proved effective, it may be made even more accessible with some tweaks. Maybe more guidance or help would be helpfull for the candidates as they navigate the application process.
