My personal experience with my university has been very exciting and exhaustive. I had received a good amount of my knowledge and experience to enter the field of research and diagnostics. The guidance that I received from my senior equipped me with enough knowledge to clear my GATE and CSIR-NET exams which catapulted me in the whole new world of applied sciences.

The course curriculum was very exhaustive as well as consolidated and addressed all the subjects which were to be addressed in the course. It addressed all the aspects of genetics which are involved in Human, Plants, Animals as well as microbes and equipped me with all the knowledge which helped us to take things forward in the most interesting field of genetics i.e. Molecular Genetics.

The course which I understook was not a professional course but a Master's degree which equipped me to enter formally in the field of Research and Diagnostics as a novice and for that I was offered a stipend of INR 8000+HRA after I cleared CSIR-JRF

As I told this course is not a professional course but sure there are opportunities where people who do this course also get placements. Almost all of us got an opportunity to work somewhere or other.

So the University had all kinds of festivals which could be technical, conferences, cultural or management and were organized in very professional way

As it is a government institution the fee structure is very reasonable. I paid INR10000 per year as the tuition fee and moreover the hostel facilities were also of the similar range.

As it is already a very reasonable institution as far as facilities and infrastructure is concerned, but then also there were few facilities were provided to the students through government.

As far as gender ratio is concerned the tilt was towards female as out of 14 people we were just four males/ We enjoyed a lot the hostel life it was pretty cool and there were a lot of cultural and other hangouts throughout my time there

The infrastructure of the Hostel was very good and as far as the mess is concerned it was a co-operative mess and hence the price we paid for the mes was very reasonable and the quality of food was directly monitored by us.

My seniors were very co-operative and I am still in touch with a sizable no of my seniors. The interaction with my batch mates and juniors has also been on the positive side.

We at that time had annual exam system and through out the year we got a good experience of working freely in labs as well.

As far as the University is concerned It was A+++ as the infrastructure and the facilities provided to us were of that standard according to that time but the level of faculty could have been more aggressive.
