My IIM journey

IIM is a dream for many students and I was one of them. My dream was fulfilled when I finished my studies from IIM Lucknow. Now I am in a reputed position just because of IIM. IIM has qualified faculty having outstanding academic backgrounds and sound conceptual knowledge. In a nutshell, I would say it has great faculty, great placement and a great infrastructure. Love to be a student from IIM.

The course I opted for is Post Graduation Diploma in Management for Working Executives and I felt that the course is provided with all the minute details and it was communicated to the students very well. we were not only given the theoretical knowledge but we were given the practical knowledge also and this encouraged us Tu to understand the topic well. This makes the students of IIM different from the students of any other Business School. We are given a proper practical knowledge of what we are studying. Even though it is difficult to enter into IIM but the life of IIM is fantastic. we have interesting classes and labs that does not make our hectic and we love doing it.

IIM is a brand and every company fights to recruit students from IIM. IIM is the first preference for every company for recruitment. Every year various reputed companies hire students from IIM and they take it as a fried for them. Companies such as CapGemini, Coca-Cola, Cognizant, Wipro, Yahoo, etc

IIM conduct various cultural, technical, management events where students around the country participates. IIMNevents are always grand and they always stand out from other colleges and Universities. The best part of IIM is that IIM Lucknow offers awards and prizes that are sponsored by various Central Government, State Governments and other bodies for higher studies. Details regarding the same are available on The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and the respective State Government portals etc.

I paid 1.26 lacs for my Post Graduation Diploma in Management for Working Executives. Different courses have different fee structure which we can find in the college website. Even though the is a big sum of amount to be paid but there are education loans given to the students for their studies. Once we are selected and finish our studies from IIM we can easily pay the loans and I am sure that we would earn much more than what we had paid.

Life in IIM Lucknow is not only about academic but also about the extra curricular activities. Whether it is inter-corporate sports tournament 'Pravaah' or the traditional IPMX welcome party 'Shubhaarambh' or national level B-school competitions and panel discussions during 'Udyam' ?there are always events a plenty throughout the year that provide students an opportunity to showcase their unique talents. It does not only provide chance to the students in the campus but also to the students off the campus.

I have opted for the hostel and fee per year is INR 2,40,000. The overall infrastructure of Indian Institute of Management, [IIM] Lucknow is a kind of Nawab's campus. Each student is given a single room and every room has an attached washroom. Services like internet connection, washing machines, water cooler, cupboard, table, chair, fan, the bed is provided. Mess food is tasty and hygienic as well. Very few hostel food are tasty and IIM food is luxurious for the hostel students. The campus of IIM Lucknow features in the list of top 50 beautiful campuses around the world. It definitely is one of the best campus I have seen till now.

Indian institute of Management, Lucknow is a brand for business schools. I am pursuing my Post Graduation Diploma in Management for Working Executives in Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow (Noida campus). To get an admission in IIM Lucknow I had to qualify CAT. After I qualified the exam I had registered online and then I was called for a personal interview and the personal interview was based on my scores that I scored in the above exams. Only I entered into this campus when I qualified the personal interview round.

IIM faculties are truly gem. every teacher is qualified in their own way and each of them has a unique style of teaching. IIM teacher teaches in a student centred environment. They encourage the students to learn and think in different ways. not only do they provide the theoretical knowledge to the students by the also focus on the practical learning. They're well qualified teachers with immense knowledge in them and the always believe in sharing the knowledge with their students. Even my professor used to prefer teaching in various styles. They used to to teach one topic in one way and would always choose to teach another topic in a different way which is is not as similar as the first teaching style. I was never bored in my class.
