Overall, It is a good college in the North East. I am happy with the course and looking forward to get placed soon in a good company. I have a good learning experience here and made some really nice friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a three year course comprising of six semesters.The course curriculum focuses on building up future leaders as required by the IT industries. It tries to meet the requirements of the industries in the field of technology, computer programming, management etc.
Placement Experience
The job related to software profession is available after pursuing this degree. As the syllabus is updated every 6 months to catch with the changes in technology, we get the broad knowledge about the recent trends of the industries which provides more chances of getting hired.
College Events
IT fests are conducted at the department level. We also get to participate at national level quiz, IT related competitions etc. We also get an opportunity to explore cultural events by actively taking part.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fee is 31,525 for the three year course. It is cheap and can be paid without any difficulty. It charges separately for the exams. The amount is Rs. 250 per paper for every semester. The fee is paid through bank draft in the name of the college.
Campus Life
We have an access to the library. The college has playgrounds to keep us fit. It also has various cultural departments to engage students. It concentrates more on the academic achievements and we have more of academic projects like a thesis has to be submitted on a topic related to computer applications.
Admission
The college shortlists the students either on the basis of entrance exam or merit lists. I applied through filling up the application form. I acquired a seat through merit list. I provided my stamp size photographs and all the required documents.
Faculty
Teachers are highly knowledgeable and few of them are also related to corporate world which acts as an advantage for us because they share their practical experiences which are helpful. We can discuss our problems in an open space without being judged by the faculty.
