Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the college was too advanced. It was designed as per the demands of the industries. We learned a lot of things through the course curriculum. The exam structure was divided into 2 categories - internals and externals.

Placement Experience

The placements of our college was too good. Top companies of the world visited there every year for placements. Yes, our college provided internships for all the students. I got selected for an internship and earned 5k per month as stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was not so high. It was quite feasible for the students. The fee structure of the course was Rs. 15,460 per year. The course duration was of 2 years. So, the total fees was Rs. 30,920 for 2 years.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities were good in the college. The laboratories were well equipped in the college. All the sports facilities like badminton, tennnis, chess were available for the betterment of the students in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I was a hostler in the college. The hostel infrastructure was too good. All the facilities were provided in the hostel for the students. The quality of mess food provided to the students were also good. Overall the hostel life was better.

Admission

The admission procedure was too simple for the students. The students got admission in the college on the basis of their previous examination marks. The eligibility criteria for admission on the basis of Bachelor's degree marks.

Faculty

The faculty members were very well experienced. They all had a lot of knowledge in their fields. Some of the faculty members were from IIT and some of them were from NIT. They helped the students in every aspect of their life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
