Remarks
The quality of education provided is really good. We had a lot of well-experienced staff who were very supportive and helpful. I was satisfied with the accommodation as the college's environment has always been positive and encouraging us to learn more.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got admission through NEET Under Graduate exam. Optometry was my dream! And I chose this college because few close relatives had suggested that it's best to do this course here. We had model exams conducted before the mains which were useful too.
Placement Experience
The placements were quite good. In my batch we had students who were mostly placed in Healthcare services, Teaching line, Business development, and consultancies etc,. And quite Good salary package since it is offered by the Armed forces medical college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee was comparatively less than other colleges which was another reason for joining here. Per Year it 8000/- and for the course I did, altogether cost me 25,000/-. It was worth the money I would say.
Campus Life
We had numerous Workshops conducted, focusing on Ethics and Regulations in the Industry, good clinical practices, etc,. We had other interesting activities like State/National/ Inter-University level research which the R&D department were taking part in. Plus we had sports, elocution, dramatics and other cultural activities as well.
Alumni/Alumna
I am this person who was always ready to make friends, my seniors were my friends and they did help me. Whether it was subject knowledge or life lessons, they were there guiding me all along. There were no college senior/junior barriers in interaction.
Admission
I studied B.Sc Optometry course here. Application process is online and students will be selected based on the entrance exam conducted by the university and the 10th, 12th percentage. Minimum 50% is required for 10th and 12th.
Faculty
College is a bit strict which has its own good and bad. Faculties help us in our tasks and supporting us to take part in extra-curricular activities also which most professors in other colleges wouldn't let.
